Quotations, fair use, and who we are not

All quotations from publications of Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvaniaand its affiliated entities — including, but not limited to: The Watchtower, Awake!, Shepherd the Flock of God, Teach Your Children, Reasoning From the Scriptures, Insight on the Scriptures, Enjoy Life Forever!, JW Broadcasting videos, and the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (NWT) — are reproduced exclusively for purposes of criticism, commentary, review, teaching, and research.

This use complies with:

• Fair use under § 107 of the United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 107), for purposes of criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
• Fair dealing under UK, Canadian, Australian, and other Commonwealth copyright legislation, where applicable.
• Article 70 of Italian Law no. 633/1941 on copyright, which permits summary, quotation, and reproduction of portions of a work for purposes of criticism, discussion, and teaching, within limits justified by such purposes.

Each quotation is clearly attributed to the original source, with publication title, date, and edition. For Bible quotations from the NWT 2013 English edition we use the standard tag (Reference, NWT).

All copyright in the quoted works remains entirely with the respective rights holders. La Bomba Blu claims no copyright over such material.

“Jehovah’s Witnesses”, “Watchtower”, “JW.org”, “Jehovah”, and related marks and logos are the property of Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania and its affiliated entities.

Use of such names on these pages is solely for the purpose of identifying the subject of critical commentary, and is covered by the principle of nominative fair use.

La Bomba Blu is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, recognized by, or otherwise connected to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, or any related entity, official or unofficial.

La Bomba Blu is a privately operated, anonymous site, run by brothers who have chosen to write without their names for reasons of pastoral and familial prudence. We do not represent any religious organization, denomination, party, or entity.

We do not use images, illustrations, photographs, or logos produced by Watchtower, JW.org, or their affiliated entities. All images on this site are owned by La Bomba Blu or used under our own license.

The course cover, the site logo, and the original graphic elements are our own work and represent the La Bomba Blu brand.
